III.  RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES

Brief Description of Activity
1 Host Job Fair On March 23, 2015, our SEU hosted an Employment and Educational Expo at the Capitol Plaza Hotel downtown Topeka, Kansas. There were twenty eight (28) local area businesses and colleges that participated.  They had information about their company/university and spoke with attendees about employment and education opportunities and accepted resumes.  There were approximately 250 people in attendance.  In addition there were a variety of seminars throughout the day that focused on job-search and continuing education.  In attendance for the SEU was the VP/General Manager for the SEU, Local Sales Manager for the SEU, six (6) Account Managers for the SEU, Operations Manager for the SEU, Production Director for the SEU, Business Assistant  and the Assistant Business Manager for the SEU.
2 Host Job Fair On September 30, 2015, our SEU hosted an Employment and Educational Expo at the Ramada Inn West at 6th and Fairlawn in Topeka, Kansas. There were seventeen (17) local area businesses and colleges that participated.  They had information about their company/university and spoke with attendees about employment and education opportunities and accepted resumes.  There were approximately 150 people in attendance.  In addition there were a variety of seminars throughout the day that focused on job-search and continuing education.  In attendance for the SEU was the VP/General Manager for the SEU,  two (2) Local Sales Manager for the SEU, five (5) Account Managers for the SEU, Operations Manager for the SEU, Program Director for KDVV(FM)/KWIC(FM), Morning Show Hosts for KMAJ(FM),  Production Director for the SEU and the Assistant Business Manager for the SEU.
3 Host event/program for educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting On October 20, 2015 the SEU hosted a station tour for a group of ten (10) Washburn University students in the Media Department.  One of the Sales Manager for the SEU is an adjunct for the Mass Media Department at Washburn University and teaches an upper level Ad Class, MM425 Creative Advertising, class.  During one of the classes the students were brought to the station for a tour and then they participated in a Q/A session with the Operations Manager for the SEU and a Sales Manager for SEU.
