No matter who you are or what you do, you can’t ‘set a screen’ against the law. 13 News reports that Kansas University Men’s Basketball player Devonte Graham was arrested Wednesday night, February 22nd. Don’t worry Jayhawk fans, he’s now a free man. but why did the star basketball player and student get locked up?

Graham was picked up on a municipal court charge. The story goes that he was driving an ex-teammate’s car that had expired tags and got a ticket. Graham thought it was taken care of, but alas not.  He apparently failed to appear in court and a subsequent warrant was issued for his arrest. Obviously a buzzkill, considering the Jayhawks had just clenched their 13th consecutive Big 12 Championship title just hours before. Clearly the arresting officer is a Wildcat fan.

The lesson here? Handle your business! Graham has since apologized and taken responsibility for his actions.
