This week the Vortx is going to melt your face off with double taps of Lzzy Hale and her crew in Halestorm. 

The band formed when Lzzy and her brother Arejay were just kids. As they grew, so did the band. By 2004 Halestorm had a full band and was ready to take on the world. In 2005 they did exactly that by signing to Atlantic Records and later releasing their first EP in 2006. Ever since then the band has been a major contributor to the rock community. They’ve toured with bands like Shinedown, Godsmack, Bullet For My Valentine and Alter Bridge among my others. They’ve also taken to stage at many of the world’s top rock festevals including Rocklahoma and Rock on the Range right here in the U.S.

Halestorm recently released their 3rd EP of covers called ‘ReAniMate 3.’ “We are so excited to finally unleash our latest cover EP, ‘ReAniMate 3,’ said Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. “On this EP we were inspired to push the limits and challenge the ears of our fans. There are some surprises that you may not have expected from us, and there are also things that you’ve always wanted to hear from us. We were so incredibly honored to work alongside producer Nick Raskulinecz. He truly helped us bring these songs to life and find a way to make them Halestorm’s.”
