If I stole a car the last thing I would want to do would be wreck it and leave myself stranded on a highway in a police chase… well that is exactly what one Minnesota man did EXCEPT he also decided to climb on top of a semi to avoid the police. There’s no where to go up there buddy!
10 News Tampa Bay Sarasota reported on March 21st that Brett Huber, 25, stole a car in Alexandria then later ditched the car in another town just to steal another car. When police caught up to him he had crashed the 2nd stolen car into the median of the highway. Ever heard the saying “drive it like it’s stolen”… I don’t think they meant into the median! After crashing the car Huber get out and starts walking down I-94 asking for rides to flee from the police. In the video below, posted to Facebook by an eyewitness, you can see Huber running away from a Minnesota State Patrol squad car, then, if he wasn’t trapped enough, he climbs on top of a semi! There’s no getting down easy from that!
Huber was arrested and charged with 1st-degree burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
