In society we are trained that if we need help we can go to the police for assistance and that’s exactly what one man did in Larned, KS EXCEPT he also had a pocket full of pot!
Reported by 13 News, the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office shared a story recently of a “dumb criminal” who came in for help. The man was originally coming in to get help with the title for his vehicle from the police. An officer could smell marijuana so they asked the man if he had any pot on him and the man said ‘No’. Then after the man proceeded to share with the officer that it was possible he was around someone else who was smoking. The police then searched the man and SURPRISE CRIMINAL DELIVERY he did indeed have a substantial amount of marijuana on him and drug paraphernalia. Did you get too high and forget it was in your pocket? Instead of getting assistance he got arrested.
