This week the VORTX will deliver double shots every hour from a little band called Foo Fighters!

The Foo has been a dominate force in the Rock since they formed back in 1994. The band is lead by rock icon, Dave Grohl. Since the band formed they’ve released eight studio albums and are currently preparing to release their ninth. The band has spent a lot of the year working on the new record and released the first single “Run” on June 1st. This new song comes just fifteen days before the band heads out on a tour that starts in Iceland and ends in Portugal. They also have some later dates set including the Sonic Summer Festival in Japan. It’s safe to say that we’ll have a new album from Foo Fighters in the next few months as well as a new tour. This is all exciting news!

What else can you expect from the show this week? Good question. We’ve got a new tune from HELLYEAH as well as the latest from Papa Roach, Fozzy, the Pretty Reckless and so many more killer bands!

Also this week we add two new local acts to our library! The bands are called Our Lives Yesterday and Stories Through Storms. We’re stoked to spin them this week!
