This week inside the VORTX we kick it with Punk Rock legends Green Day.

Green Day has been around since 1986. When the band started out they were not well known, but that didn’t last long. They developed a fan base after the release of a couple albums and then they hit the world by storm with their major label debut, Dookie, in 1994. Since then the band has had nothing but success. They’ve released 12 records, created one Broadway musical, had their own video game and are in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Just last year they released Revolution Radio and are currently touring the world. Don’t forget to grab your tickets to see them on August 11th in Kansas City. They put on one hell of a show.
