This week The VORTX has decided that we’ll rock with Rise Against all night long!

Rise Against is a kick ass band from Chicago. They formed way back in 1999 and have birthed a total of eight albums, including their most recent release Wolves. What a lot of people don’t know is that the band is a massive supporter of animal rights. So much so that back in 2007 they worked with Vans to release a 100% vegan pair of shoes. I’m not vegan, but I have friends that are and I respect that lifestyle. You should too. This week we’ll spin some new tunes from the band as well as some fan favorites.

This week we’ll also be rocking with new tunes from MAN WITH A MISSION. You can catch them on the road when the open up for Stone Sour in Wichita on October 8th at The Cotillion.

We’ll rock with recent releases from bands like Foo Fighters, KoRn, Sweet Ascent and the rest of your favorite bands!
