This Sunday The VORTX will produce double shots of Papa Roach!
Papa Roach hit the rock music scene pretty heavy back in the early 2000s and they don’t seem to be slowing down. Their latest record, Crooked Teeth, has done very well and you’ll catch a few of those new tunes inside The VORTX Sunday night! Jacoby Shaddix, lead singer, has recently gone through an emergency vocal surgery. That was back in early August and he seems to be recovering well! The band is currently across the pond in Europe where they will begin their tour on September 15th in Hamburg, Germany. Surprisimgly, the band hasn’t made any announcement of a US tour since the release of Crooked Teeth. I expect that we’ll hear from them no later than the end of October, when they complete the current Europian tour.
All That Remains recently released a killer Garth Brooks cover. They performed it when they were in Lawrence in May, so we’ll be giving that one a spin as well.
We’ll also rock with a new tune from the guys in Stone Sour!
Other than that you’ll hear tunes from Foo Fighters, Eleven After and Nothing More.
NEW ALBUMS 09/15/17:
Foo Fighters, Concrete and Gold
Prophets of Rage, Prophets of Rage
Nothing More, The Stories We Tell Ourselves
