Law Enforcement helps our community as a whole in many ways. They’re on call 24/7 for our protection, they insure our safety on Kansas roads, they help us whenever we are in need; and once a year they all come together for a special cause. On Sunday, October 15, the Topeka Police Department, Kansas Highway Patrol, Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, & the Topeka Fire Department will compete in The 14th Annual Glory Days Battle of the Badges flag football game.  The event , in Yager Stadium at Washburn University will benefit the Special Olympics of Kansas. Donations will be accepted at the gates for admission. There will also be food, entertainment, a silent auction, and opportunities to win prizes as well! The gates open at Noon, with the game kicking off at 1:00. Bring the whole family out to support the Special Olympics and our local Law Enforcement heroes that put it all on the line for us every day!
