Theory of a Deadman Medicates LFK

Theory of A Deadman took the stage for a night of rock n roll at the Granada in LFK Saturday.

Ayron Jones and ROYAL REPUBLIC opened up the night in Lawrence. Both of which were accepted by the crowd and everyone had a good time. The reason I point this out is that, a lot of times, the fans that are really hardcore or obsessive tend to not enjoy or give a sh!t about the opening acts, but that was not the case this time around.

I was extremely impressed with THEORY Saturday night. I’d never seen them live before and a lot of times at venues like the Granada the production is dumbed down a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised that the band had several video boards and amazing lighting.

If you’ve never been to a Theory of a Deadman show, you’re missing out on a party. These guys put on a killer show stacked with fan favorites as well as new tunes from their latest release, Wake Up Call. The band kicked it off with what may be their most recognizable song, Lowlife. They went on to play some of my favorites as well such as Bitch Came Back and Angel. The closed out the night with a three song encore that began with their current single, RX (Medicate), and ended with Bad Girlfriend.

Take a peek at a few of the photos I took at the show. I’ll post the link to the full hi-res gallery once I’ve gotten it put together.
