This Week Inside the VORTX – Metal AF Pt. 2

The last time the VORTX went Metal AF, it showcased some of the most legendary metal bands to ever take the stage. This week, it will showcase those that have started up in the past 25 years.

The first band of the night is one of my all time favorites, Korn. They’ve been around since the mid-late 90s and consistently put out albums that resonate with fans. They also put on one hell of a concert. I’ve seen them perform three times over the past year and a half and I wasn’t disappointed with any of their performances. They always provide great energy on stage that bleeds into the crowd. If you go to a Korn show, be sure you’re prepared for the pit.

The second band of the night are relatively new to the scene. They’ve been touring for a couple years, but just dropped their debut album in July. This band is Ded. These guys have hit the heavy metal scene with nothing short of amazing music and wild live shows. The band is currently on tour with Pop Evil and we can expect to see them again in early 2018 with In This Moment.

We can’t have a show all about metal from the past 25 years without mentioning Avenged Sevenfold. A7X have been one of the most popular bands on the scene for the past 15 years. Earlier this year they toured with Metallica and will soon embark on more dates for The Stage World Tour. catch them in Wichita in early 2018.

This week we’ll also feature the latest and greatest from bands like Five Finger Death Punch and Nothing More.
