As Planet Comicon approaches this weekend, we thought we would give you guys the five things we’re looking forward to most!
We are stoked about going to Planet Comicon this year because they have some amazing guests and events going on all weekend. Here’s what we’re looking forward to most:
- Alice Cooper. No surprise here, right? The Godfather of shock rock is coming to Planet Comicon this year for a special Q&A session and photo opportunities!
- Harry Potter at the Kansas City Symphony. Another music related in our top five, shocking. This one will be particularly exciting because fans of Harry Potter will be able to enjoy the score from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets performed by a live orchestra.
- The Walking Dead. King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) make their first appearance at PCKC and talk about their experiences on pop culture’s hottest property. Enjoy this special panel as these two stars share stories about their first day on set and going from fan to screen.
- Pom Klementieff. The breakout star of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 comes to Planet Comicon to talk about being the MCU’s resident empath. Hear all about her time on set and what the MCU may have in store for her.
- The Art of Telling Stories in Comics. The most renowned creators in comics talk about the magic of art and writing coming together to create a story. Hear what goes into being both writer and artist on superheroes and more. Jeremy Haun (The Realm), Geof Darrow (Shaolin Cowboy), Phil Hester (Green Arrow), Dan Jurgens (Action Comics), and Patrick Gleason (Superman) are on the panel.
