Cinematic Rock band Starset made a stop in Lawrence on their Immersion Part 1 tour.
This wasn’t the first time Starset has blessed LFK with their technology and music, but the second time within a year and we’re not mad about it. If you’ve never made it out to a Starset show, you are seriously missing out. I go to concerts all the time in both arenas and clubs, but I haven’t found that anyone is on the same production level as Starset.
Starset performed songs from both their debut and sophomore album. They have some of the most amazing and dedicated fans I have ever seen. Everyone in the crowd new the words to all the songs and were singing along the whole time. It was truly a special night.
The band is of course an outreach program for the Starset Society that aims to inform the public about science and technology and how can affect us. They are led by lead singer Dustin Bates. Dustin is a genius and makes sure that each member of the band are on point at all times during the demonstration, he’s also the man behind the amazing production you’ll see at each and every Starset demonstration.
Take a look at a few of my photos from the show.
