Red is way more than just a color.

This week The VORTX is cranking out double shots from one of Ethan’s favorite bands that grew up on, Red. These guys released their first album, End of Silence, way back in 2016. The last time we got to talk to a member of the band was the day of their show in Kansas City on the 10 year anniversary tour for that record. Since their genesis, Red have released six studio albums and they are currently in the studio working on their 7th, which will be the follow up to 2017’s Gone. When that album was released, the band didn’t know where they were going in the future because their record deal had expired. Recently, the band announced that they’ve decided to go independent to continue working on new music for the fans. They also made a great announcement, saying that Dan Johnson (drums) has become an official member of the band. Ethan will talk with Anthony from the band this week to get an update from the studio and to talk about all of the new things they’ve got going on right now. You’ll hear parts of that interview inside The VORTX on Sunday night along with double shots from Red.
