If you are looking to help out a great cause, and make a little money for some extra Christmas shopping, then the Salvation Army is your perfect solution.
According to a press release, they are now accepting applications for bell ringers in Topeka. Here is what the press release says:
“The season of giving is right around the corner, and the familiar sound of bell ringing will announce the beginning of The Topeka Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. The Campaign kicks off, Friday, November 20th, at 6p at the Evergy Pocket Park, 8th and Ks Ave. Captain Cristian and Brook Lopez of The Topeka Salvation Army will be joining this year’s Red Kettle Chair for the event.”
They will start taking applications now thru Monday, December 14th at the Topeka Salvation Army. That is located at 1320 SE 6th St.
They will be open Monday thru Friday from 8:00a to 5:00pm. An ID is required as well as social security cards. A passport will work for both forms of ID. They will also be paying you a rate of $9.00 an hour.
