Tom is the first feline addition to V100’s Muttley Crew!

Tom is a unique cat who’s up for adoption, but you won’t see him up on the adoption floor. He’s been fostered in our volunteer coordinator’s office because he was extremely scared when he came to Helping Hands Humane Society. The more homey environment of a quiet office served him well; he began coming out of his shell and we learned things about him like after he trusts you, he loves having his belly rubbed. He also seems to like small and medium sized dogs! He’ll rub up against them and try to make them his friend. He doesn’t mind the company of other cats at all. Even when the door is open, he rarely ventures out of his office, so he will likely take time and patience to adjust to a new home. We think he’d do best in a home without small kids. He is about 5 years old and a domestic shorthair mix!
