Ernie, an approximately 10-month-old male Pit Bull mix who came to Helping Hands Humane Society as a stray on January 2nd, is our Muttley Crew member of the week! He weighs 46.5 pounds and is still an adolescent in the dog world! Because Ernie is still working on his canine manners, he has a training scholarship sponsored by PEDIGREE Foundation, meaning he and his adopters can attend an HHHS Petiquette (basic obedience) course free of charge after adoption. He’s doing his best KISS impression in his photo! He would fit in best in a home with no cats and no kids under 10 years old. From what they’ve seen at the shelter, he seems to want to play with other dogs!
