Slate has been with Helping Hands Humane Society for over 100 days. He’s about 2 years old, and HHHS is guessing he’s a Lab/Boxer mix. He weighs 59 pounds, and prefers female canine playmates to males. He has been around some kids during his time at the shelter and did well around them. He has a training scholarship sponsored by PEDIGREE Foundation, meaning you can bring him to one of the HHHS Petiquette basic obedience classes free of charge after adopting him. His previous family said he was potty trained, kennel trained, and knew sit, down, and shake in their home! A guardian angel community member has sponsored most of his adoption fee, so he’s just $50 to adopt.
