V100’s Muttley Crew – Rafiki

Rafiki, one of the longest term resident adoptable dogs at Helping Hands Humane Society, came to the shelter on March 19th after Animal Control found him as a stray. He’s only about a year old, and is presumably a Lab/Border Collie mix. Rafiki weighs 55 pounds. He has sponsorships from Calhoun’s Jewelers and Sammy’s Crystals, so he’s only $50 to adopt. He also has a Training Scholarship sponsored by the PEDIGREE Foundation, meaning he and his new family can register for one of our Petiquette (basic obedience) classes at the shelter for free! HHHS has found a few canine friends that Rafiki enjoys during his time at the shelter; they’d recommend interested families talk to an adoption counselor about arranging to bring their dog(s) in to meet Rafiki. Overall, he is a very nice boy just looking for a family to love!

If you think Rafiki might be a good fit for your home, please visit Helping Hands Humane Society!
