Baxter, a 2-year-old male German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who came to HHHS on May 7th is our Muttley Crew Member of the week. He weighs 59 pounds and has been working hard on his obedience and learning some agility at Helping Hands Humane Society! He has a training scholarship sponsored by PEDIGREE Foundation, and part of his adoption fee is sponsored by Calhoun’s Jewelers.

Baxter was very nervous and shy when he first came to HHHS. They’ve helped him build his confidence, and he’s very sweet once he’s comfortable, but he may need some patience when he first enters a new home.
