Meet Twyla, a 2-year-old Border Collie mix who has been with Helping Hands Humane Society for 111 days. She came in as a stray back in June and their Veterinarian noticed she had a hard time walking for an extended period of time. She determined that at 2 years old, Twyla has arthritis in her hips potentially caused from an old injury. She is currently in a foster home and is ready to find a family to love her for the rest of her journey. She is currently off her pain meds and with the help of some physical therapy, she can run and play. Twyla is a sweet girl and loves to be around her people and doesn’t mind other dogs. Since she is in a foster home, anyone interested in adopting her can call and speak to an adoption counselor to set up a meet and greet.
