V100’s Muttley Crew – Bark Twain

Meet this week’s Muttley Crew member of the week, Bark Twain! He’s a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who came to Helping Hands Humane Society as a stray on August 1st. He’s been completely sponsored by Ms. Bradshaw’s Shawnee Heights English Class, so he is $0 to adopt! They also donated a basket of goodies to go home with him. Bark Twain also has a training scholarship sponsored by the PEDIGREE Foundation, so he and his new family can attend an HHHS Petiquette (basic obedience) class together free of charge post-adoption. He is ready to go!

He is a pretty big guy weighing 66.5 pounds – his excited energy can be a bit much for smaller or more reserved dogs, so HHHS asks adopters to bring their dog(s) in to meet him before adoption. The person who originally found him as a stray kept him overnight and said he did great with her kids, was house broken, and was not scared by storms but did want to sleep in bed.

If you think Bark Twain might be a good fit for your home, please visit Helping Hands Humane Society!

HHHS Hours of Operation:
