Meet this week’s Muttley Crew featured pet, Haven! She’s about 1 year 8 months old, a Rottweiler mix, and she came to Helping Hands Humane Society on 8/23, meaning she’s been there now for 111 days. She weighs approximately 50 pounds.

Haven can be quite nervous at first with new people, but with time and patience opens up. She has participated in playgroups with other dogs at HHHS, but they do ask interested adopters to plan to schedule a meet-and-greet with any of their dogs from home with an adoption counselor. Because of her unsure personality, we also think she’d do best with kids 12 and older. 

Haven has a training scholarships sponsored by the PEDIGREE Foundation, so she and her new family can attend an HHHS Petiquette (basic obedience) free of charge after she is adopted!
