Meet this week’s Muttley Crew featured pet, George. He’s a 2-year-old, 53-pound male Lab/Pit Bull mix who came to Helping Hands Humane Society on October 25th. Genesis Realtors has sponsored part of his adoption fee, making him $100 to adopt. He is a dog who’s excited about life and already knows how to sit and lay down on command. He has made some dog friends at the shelter, but can be unsure with new dogs at first, so HHHS recommends interested adopters work with their adoption team to plan to bring their dog(s) in for a meet-and-greet with George before adopting. HHHS also offers foster-to-adopt for large breed adult dogs like George for up to 2 weeks so a family can see how a new dog fits into their home before completing the adoption!
