Meet this week’s Muttley Crew featured pet, Drake! Drake is a male Lab/Pit Bull mix who is a little over a year old! He came to Helping Hands Humane Society as a stray on October 14th of last year after an Animal Control Officer found him hiding under a bench in a cemetery with some cuts on his face, so he’s been with them for 137 days now. He’s currently being fostered at Woof’s Play & Stay (a doggy daycare near the shelter who regularly takes adoptable dog fosters so they can get a lot of exercise and socialization). He’s still quite a young dog with lots of energy and weighing 60 pounds – HHHS recommends a home without small kids and with a family willing to work on his training and give him physical activity. He seems to be going through the Lab teenager phase that lasts a few years! He’s a happy go lucky dog looking for a great home.
