Red Rocks Kansas City In March and Hints At Return In April

Michael Barnes from Red

On March 21st Aftershock in Kansas City played host to the second stop on this leg of Red’s End of Silence 10th Anniversary Tour.

Red always brings it on stage and that didn’t change this time around. They kicked off the show with Simon and Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence” blasting through the speakers until the band took the stage with heavy guitars and broke the silence. The show consisted of many of the bands hits including “Already Over,” “Feed the Machine,” and “Breathe Into Me.” Not only did the band rock the house with their own hits, but they gave the audience a heavy rendition of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and the crowd went crazy. Yes, you can find clips of the show on YouTube, but there is nothing like being there and experiencing it in person.

This tour also featured the bands Death Therapy and Wolves At The Gate, both of which killed it dispite Death Therapy having some technical difficulties.

Our sources tell us that Red will to return to Kansas City on April 28th as the opening act for Breaking Benjamin at the Uptown Theatre. Tickets are available now and they start at just $32.00 plus fees. To keep up with Red’s tour dates follow them on Facebook, Twitter or by clicking here.
