This Week Inside the Vortx – Disturbed

This week’s show is not for the faint of heart. It is an all ages show, but we advise that parents leave children at home. This Easter we’re cranking out double shots from Disturbed.

Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, Il. They were active from 1996 until 2011 when the band went on hiatus. This hiatus came to a halt in 2015 when the band announced the upcoming release of their new album Immortalized. This album produced the hit cover of Simon & Garfunkel‘s “Sound of Silence” as well as “Open Your Eyes.” The band has toured in support of this album since it was released. They are currently working on an accoustic EP wich will include new origional material. After this EP is released the band is expected to release the second full length album since their return.

We’ll also head bang to Mastodon, Motionless in White and I Prevail.

Don’t forget to keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter for all of the latest updates from inside the Vortx. You can also email any requests to [email protected].

Any and all actions that may cause harm are not encouraged by the Vortx, but if you do choose to participate we sure as hell won’t stop you. If you are unable to make it to work Monday morning because you are down with the sickness please have your immediate supervisor email [email protected] and we will explain everything.
