This Week Inside the VORTX – Foo Fighters

This week The VORTX will be spitting out back-to-back tunes from Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters.

Foo Fighters have been around since the late 90s. For those of you that have been living on another planet, the singer from the Foo Fighters looks just like the drummer from Nirvana, because he is the drummer from Nirvana. Foo Fighters formed about a year after Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Grohl took awhile to decompress and mourn, but he couldn’t stay away from the music. His roles obviously changed from Nirvana to Foo Fighters, but to this day he still considers himself a drummer and not a singer. Dave and the gang are a great group of guys that have blessed the universe with their existence and with their music. They have never put out a bad album. Never. Their new album is probably my favorite release of 2017. Pick up Concrete and Gold here.

Also this week we’ll have a sh!t ton of new music. Bands like Disciple, Deadset Society and, the one we’ve been waiting for, A Perfect Circle. We’re not sure if you’re ready for all of this new music, but we’re going to give to you guys anyway.
