This week the VORTX has called up the Metal Gods to melt your faces. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome Metallica to the VORTX.

It is not secret that Metallica has been the best Metal band to ever exist. If you disagree, you’re probably high as a kite, or you’re living on an entirely different planet. I hear that there is a place called the Grammy’s where Beyonce is a Rock artist. That is the planet you live on.

Back to the topic at hand: Metallica. These guys have been around since the early 80s. There is not a metal band in the industry today that has lasted as long as these guys and kept the massive fan base that is still willing to purchase the new tunes.They have the most dedicated fans in Rock and Metal. Rock with them and all of the other metal heads in NE Kansas Sunday night inside the VORTX.

This week we’ll be giving away a pair of tickets for Tech N9ne, so stay tuned for your cue to call!

Also this week we’ll have some new music from RED and we’ll toss in a couple of songs from Starset and Breaking Benjamin that were never released as singles, but we like them anyway. We’ll also chat rumors surrounding all three of those bands.
