You Helped Fill the Ronald McDonald House Pantry!

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas provides non-profit communal living for those families who have kids 21 and under receiving medical care from one of the local hospitals. Currently they are housing 7 families with a total capacity of 8. Most of these families have babies in NICU, so it allows them to be surrounded by others who understand what they are going through while also being close to their child. It also relieves a small portion of the stress they feel during this, which is by minimizing the financial burden on them.

This past Saturday we not only filled the Ronald McDonald House pantry… we had it overflowing! They had to set up additional shelves in the basement to hold all the items generously donated. The house received every item on their wish list and more. They had about 6 car fulls of items donated including over 50 pounds of meat, batteries, paper towel, baking goods, and so much more.

We want to thank everyone that came out and made this a huge success. The help this charity received speaks volumes for our community.
