I’ll be the first to say that 2017 was an amazing year for new rock music.
I went into 2017 expecting a lot from some of the bands I’d been waiting on for a few years. I was more than satisfied with how the year ended. 2017 was a great year for veterans of the industry like Foo Fighters or Stone Sour to release new albums. It was also a great year for new bands like Ded and Greta Van Fleet who both hit the rock scene by storm. I was thinking about all the fantastic music I’d heard this year and decided that I would do a top 10 for the year. This was not an easy thing for me to do. So many bands put out amazing records, but I think I’ve got my favorites narrowed down.
